What can I download with SSSGr?
SSSGr can process public Instagram videos, photos, carousel posts, Reels, active Stories, Highlights, and profile pictures when the media is available from the source. Paste the link, select Download, and choose the file shown in the results. Private, expired, removed, or restricted content may not return a downloadable file.
Do I need to log in?
No login is needed for links SSSGr can access without an account. SSSGr does not ask for your Instagram password, cookies, or access token, and you do not need to create a SSSGr account. Private posts require a separate authorised workflow.
Why did my Instagram link fail?
First, make sure you copied the complete Instagram URL and that the post is still publicly viewable. Links to deleted, private, expired, or restricted content may not work. If the link looks correct but still fails, the source response may be temporarily unavailable, so try the original post URL again later.
Can I download from a private account?
Not with this downloader. It cannot access private posts or bypass Instagram permissions. Use the Private Instagram Downloader only for content you are authorised to view and save, and follow the source-data steps shown there.
Will SSSGr upscale or edit the media?
No. SSSGr does not upscale, sharpen, or convert a file into a quality that the source did not provide. The result screen shows the formats and media items returned for that particular link, so the available quality can differ between posts.
Where are downloads saved?
Your browser controls the save location. On a computer, files normally appear in the Downloads folder. On iPhone or Android, use the browser's download or share option to save the file to Files, Photos, or your device's Downloads folder.
Does Instagram notify the creator?
SSSGr does not send a creator notification when you use the downloader. You are still responsible for respecting the creator's copyright, privacy, and any permission requirements when saving or sharing the media.
