2. Open the generated request

How the private workflow works

SSSGr does not log in to Instagram for you. The browser session and source HTML must belong to you and must be used only with permission.
1

Paste the private post URL

Open the private post in your own signed-in browser session and paste its Instagram URL here.
2

Open the generated request

SSSGr builds an Instagram request URL. Open it in the same browser session and copy the returned page source.
3

Paste the source HTML

Paste the page source returned by Instagram. The field is limited to 5 MB; do not paste passwords or account credentials.

About the Private Instagram Downloader

SSSGr's private workflow helps you submit source data from an Instagram page you can already view in your own authorised browser session. It does not log in to Instagram for you or bypass account permissions.

Use this workflow only for content you are allowed to view and save. Never paste a password, cookie, login token, or unrelated personal data into the form.

Important limits

Use access you already haveOpen the generated request in the same browser session where you are authorised to view the private post; SSSGr does not unlock content for you.
Never share account credentialsDo not paste an Instagram password, session cookie, login token, or private account credentials into SSSGr.
Source processed for one requestThe submitted source is used for the current extraction request and is not written to a SSSGr application database or activity log.
5 MB source limitPaste the complete relevant source within the size limit; incomplete, expired, or unexpected responses may not contain enough media metadata.

Private downloader FAQ

Does SSSGr ask for my Instagram password?

No. SSSGr never asks you to paste an Instagram password, cookie, or login token. The workflow uses source data that you choose to copy from your own browser session, so your credentials stay in your browser.

Can I use this for any private account?

Only use it for content you are authorised to view and save. SSSGr does not bypass account permissions; you must already be able to access the private post in your own Instagram session.

Why is the generated request URL needed?

The generated URL points your browser to the Instagram response needed for extraction while keeping your existing session in your own browser. Open it in the same browser where you can already view the private post, then copy the returned source data into SSSGr.

Why did extraction return no media?

The source may be incomplete, expired, restricted, or different from the response SSSGr expects. Make sure you copied the complete page source from the generated request, then retry with the same authorised browser session. SSSGr cannot recover media that Instagram did not return.

Is the source HTML stored?

No. SSSGr processes the submitted source only for the current extraction request and does not write it to an application database or activity log. After the request finishes, SSSGr has no stored source copy to retrieve; never paste a password, cookie, or access token into the form.
